Lemons

When life gives you lemons, you certainly can make lemonade.
But that doesn't mean that your feelings of anger, resentment or saddness are not valid while you're making that lemonade.
Maybe you don't like lemonade.
Maybe the fact that lemonade was forced upon you pisses you off. That is fine.
However, you should make that damn lemonade the best you can. Even if it's a little too bitter, or there's bits in it, or you put in far too much sugar, or you watered down too much. It's the best lemonade you can make, considering you were forced to make it with no real desire to do so.
Some people love lemonade and when they're handed a load of fresh lemons they welcome the challenge and end up with the best tasting lemonade you've ever tasted. And maybe it pisses you off that some people can make lemonade so easily, when you struggled to produce something that's even drinkable.
Or sometimes, you might love lemonade, but the process of making it is too hard. You'd rather just enjoy the finished product at the end. I am in this scenario.
I certainly enjoy a nice lemonade, but I'd never want to make it myself. I would feel proud having made it, but I don't think it would ever be good enough, and would rather just leave it to the pros. But I really want to try and make some good lemonade. But what if it's bad? What if it's too hard and I give up anyway?
I realise that this is okay too. If you give it a good go, but it doesn't work out, that's fine. If you don't want to even try, that's fine. I'd suggest you do, but if it's too draining on you to even try, don't. Don't overextend yourself if you're not ready. Because it is hard work, and it will be draining, but the end result will be worth it...If you can make it to the final result (lemonade).
Life may give you lemons, but what you get out of the lemons, is up to you, right?
